The Cavan and Leitrim Railway Museum is operated completely by volunteers who are dedicated to preserving Irish transport and railway history. Visitors can experience a unique guided tour of the transport exhibits including access to aircraft cockpits, there is also a trip on our narrow gauge railway. Recommended duration of 45 - 60 minutes.

Opening Hours:

We will re-open at Easter 2024.

 

We plan to open for the 2024 season from Easter Sunday 2024. From then on we will be open on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays t the end of September.

 

2024 Opening Hours:

 

Saturdays: 11:30 - 16:30

Sundays: 13:00 - 16:30

Mondays: 11:30 - 16:30
