The Cavan and Leitrim Railway Museum is operated completely by volunteers who are dedicated to preserving Irish transport and railway history.

 

Visitors can experience a unique guided tour of the transport exhibits including access to aircraft cockpits, there is also a trip on our narrow gauge railway. Recommended duration of 45 - 60 minutes. Please bear with us as we are 100% volunteer operated and will do our best to assist you.

We are open from Easter Sunday on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays to the end of September.
